Sorry its been awhile since I have drawn anything, and these are pictures of pictures.   Below is the original drawings that I based mine off of with tweaks of course.

Because this project is so big I am going to break the pages down a bit. This will remain the planning page and you can reach the actual construction pages with the links below or at the top of the page. This should make it easier to read.

12 Feb 2007 - You got to, got to, got to, got to, GOT TO, LOVE Tax returns. After paying a good chunk on each of our credit cards, and a few other misc expenses we split the rest in half and we get to spend our half on whatever we want to. Velvet for the Autumn dress here I come!!!!

22 Feb 2007 - Not a whole lot of new stuff to mention. I did go out and buy 22 more yards of fabric for this dress though. Some black and white 'super cotton' for lining of the coat, skirt, and bodice. So basically an update to tell you all, I am adding to my costs. Yea? Avien, also sent me some yummy information on the coats... Things may change a little with this dress....

15 March 2007 - Its raining it pouring the old man is snoring.... okay I have lost my mind but I have good news. The velvet piece that Avien sent me to look at came in the mail today. It is soooo purty!!!! What do you all think???? Here is a few pics of all the fabrics together.  I may be changing the burnt orange to a more orangy red, then it is.

15th April -  I haven't started on this costume yet but I have been doing some research. I am happy to claim I have at last found pictures that support the bodice and underskirt with an over gown/coat.  Before I was only finding it with a kirtle or doublet. The first two (Pictures below) have the high collars on the overcoat. I like the the first one because of how decorated the collar is. I like the second because it has the ruffle that I want to use on my coat. I might do both! All the pictures below do not have their overcoats/gowns closed. This makes me wonder if it is a different garment then what I do see with the kirtles and doublets.

Isn't the first one gorgeous! IF I didn't have most of my fabric and gems/beads picked out I would change the game plan up right now. But I do... so it will be on my list of to do.

19th April - Once more I am having one of those nights where I can't sleep so I was playing around with my pics and the zoom button. I have come to the conclusion that in the above two photos, with high standing collars, that both have what I think is partlets that go under their bodices. It is connected to the ruff/ruffles. I was trying to figure out how to attach it to the coat but it seems I won't have to anymore.

9th May - I just wanted to share a picture of the main fabric I am using for the Overdress. Click to enlarge the pic.  I accidentally dropped it, spilling the fabric everywhere when I was going through them the other day so I ended up refolding it.  Ohhh how I am begining to really love this fabric.  I am starting to scheme how I am going to bead it. This will be fun... Also started the undergarments page.

21 September - I was able to get a bolt of muslin a few weeks back off of Ebay for about half the price it would of cost me online. Now I just need to get the motivation to start the mock up of the over gown.
