Peasant boy for my brother

*some pictures are thumb nailed to save space*

This was done so my brother could attend the Escondido, CA faire with me in April 2004. It was the first full male costume I have done.

The fabric I got on sale at Jo-Anns. The trim I had gotten only because I thought it looked nice, long before this project was even thought up. It went well with the costume though.

I used Simplicity 5925.  I don't remember running into to many problems with this pattern, though it was almost three years ago now.

Likes:

The grommet holes

The overall color scheme

Dislikes:

The trim....  it just doesn't match up. You can see the ends...

And the fact that I didn't get the shirt done in time for my brother to wear it.

due to losing the memory card that had all my picture from my vacation back home and to two Renaissance faires.  I only have one picture of my brother in this costume, supplied by my Mum. Thanks Mom!
